I use Psion since the SIENA model, I used a 3c, 3mx and a 5mx, a went to the bathroom with my beloved Psion, gave him a name, registered all possible software, I have the complete collection palmtop magazines and made many friends buy a Psion instead of something stupid like a CE. Sadly, Psion sales going down and software development is dead. Yes, Psions sheet app was the best, Agenda was the best, data was the best. Recently I started to use a Palm IIxe, the standard stuff is far inferieur to the standard Psion. But the third party software is sometimes the triple in functionality. All Psioneers (and I am one of them) should try Tinysheet for Palm, real workbook functionality. ThinkDB data_base_, a usefull relational d_base_ for Palm instead of the flat Psion d_base_s or the odd working Power_base_. And more important, Palms conduits make perfect syncronisation possible with all desktop programs. (The most impressive is Project@hand, perfect syncro with MS project 2000 or ThinkDB, syncro with MS Acess) This makes the information on the Palm perfect printable in proffessional _style_s. The problem is that Psion simply forget to investigate in good syncro and printing. (Remember all the tricks to do to print a nice sheet?) Since you've already experienced the excellent Palmtop mag for Psion, have you tried PalmUser?

Tell us more about ThinkDB? Is it a true relational data_base_ or is it like Psion Power_base_? Psion Power_base_ is a very powerful pseudo-relational data_base_ running on the Psion but has limitations that true relational data_base_s don't. I'm wondering if ThinkDB is the same? Does ThinkDB have the filofax view of Psion DATA? Can you _embed_ spreadsheets and sketches? thanks

Last week Palm postponed the development of a wireless PDA. 2. Nokia and Motorola stopped the cooperation with Palm in the development of PDA-smartphones. 3. Palm Q1 deficit 38 million US$. 4. 200'000 less Palm sold than expected. WHILE Psion sold 50'000 less 5mx than last year, BUT Ericsson sold 50'000 MORE Mc218. I think Psion will be the winner, but only on the SOFTWARE level. Nokia and Ericsson will produce all the HW. Palm will die in the war with PowerPC2002. (Nearly all PPC2002 have the same functionality like a palm, color screen, MP3, telephone support and LOT OF sw.)Psion has a place in the keyboard-drived PDA area. Bye all ps I tried a Palm too, but was too primitive after my 5mx, so I turned back to psion.
