Since you are selling these systems, what can you tell us about experience with the Magellan GSC 100/Orbcom system??  All I have seen posted so far is one report from the Caribbean which concluded that the GSC 100 could not pick up satellites at sea, perhaps due to motion of the boat.  Was that an isolated incident, or is this system a dud?? My reply to Don Radcliffe, I have not heard much about the performance of the GSC 100.  I have sent and received an email at the Ft .Lauderdale Boat show and it worked fine.  I have been in marine sales for 5 years now and have not sold many GSC 100.  I think that if I was a sailor I would buy one in a heart beat.  It is a cheap way to communicate worldwide.  I would buy a GSC 100 before I would send email over a single sideband.

Can you tell us of any experience using the Neraphone Portable, without stabilized antenna, at sea, how successful, etc? And is there similar experience with GSC100?
