My employer just got himself a new V200 and has very kindly given me his old T100, sadly minus the data cable (was destroyed in a fire). However, he bought a replacement from a seller on eBay, which can be seen here: http://tinyurl.com/jbbl I tried the cable on three different PCs with the PC _link_ software, and no joy. The cable we received was not the same as the one on the eBay auction (no external power connection option for example), so I emailed the guy. He gave a one line answer about the cable not working with the Samsung software, only third-party software! Not a lot of bloody use that, and there was no mention of this limitation in the eBay ad. The seller didn't give any indication of what software to use (I'm waiting for the email offering to sell me some compatible software). Can anyone tell me what software I might be able to try to upload tones and images to the phone? The cable has SAM A388/408 on the sticker. I've looked but all I've found is Melody Manager, and that won't connect either. When I attach the cable to the phone the screen lights up briefly, and it begins to charge, but no joy with anything else. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. Chris
